A strong focus on technicality, connection and control combined with a high doses of fun, that is the teaching style of Annika.
Annika lives and breathes dancing. She graduated from the dance academy and has been an internationally performing salsa artist since she was 16 years. She’s done projects with f.e. Mente, Cuerpo y Alma, Salsa Dance Squad, Matanza, Fadi, Mambomike, Pura Salsa, Drakenwoede, La Diferencia, Mambomike and Rayonnel.
In 2007 she started her own dance school ‘Luv 2 Dance’ and is teaching there eversince.
In the beginning of 2012 she was booked for a show in France and that’s when she got in touch with Kizomba for the first time. She instantly fell in love with the dance and a few month later started hosting the very first and still the biggest Kizomba Social in Holland: Kizomba Lounge.
Annika is the resident teacher of Kizomba Lounge but constantly invites other Kizomba teachers to share her passion. She is frequently invited to teach in Holland and abroad.
Currently Annika is forming a professional dance couple together with Stephane from Paris and has projects with different dancers on the side.
